Emission Reduction Benefits
There are a variety of industry choices to prevent the formation of specific pollutants as a result of an engine’s exhaust process, but it is far more effective in the first instance to reduce the creation of pollution, than to use up valuable resources cleaning up pollution after the event.
3-way catalyst converters reduce NOx, CO and NMHC by up to 90% as a standard and emission reduction can go as high as 99% by adding extra catalyst elements.
Fitting oxidation catalysts will reduce emissions of NMHC between 80 – 90%, whilst reduction of CO and VOC emissions can be up to 90%. Particulate Matter (PM), odor and smoke are also reduced as a secondary process.
SRC systems (Selective Catalytic Reduction) can potentially reduce the NOx emissions between 80 and 99% and also further reduce the PM (Particulate Matter), even without a catalyst.
Using Clean Air Power technology to reduce emissions results not only in a cost effective means of lowering pollution levels, but also provides "realistic" environmental results, both principles required by most countries emission reduction policies.
Clean Air Power's catalytic silencer products have the added benefit of reducing noise to comply with OSHA and other standards. They are offered in industrial, residential, hospital grade, or custom silencing levels.
Clean Air Power has a comprehensive performance warranty and reliable customer service, which makes the aftertreatment product line the reliable answer to your emission control compliance needs.
